My name’s Yann and i’m ending cegep this year. As a final task we’ve been asked to build something math/physics related. Of course, i chose to build a coil gun !
I saw that yours seemed to work pretty well compared to most on youtube. I was wondering if you could explain me in details how you managed to build it and make it work with that kind of projectile velocity. To be honest, i have done my theorical course in electricity but never got around to “tinkering” with the subject. I also read a whole bunch of websites concerning this subject but none seemed to cover the informations needed to build one as efficient as yours. I still have a lot of time ahead of me for this project but the sooner the better if you choose to help me out.
